Objective of This Mock-Up Project
The goal of this project is to simulate real tasks you may encounter as a Virtual Assistant specializing in social media management and graphic design. You’ll practice planning content, writing captions, and creating branded graphics that reflect the clinic’s identity
What You Will Gain
Hands-on experience creating a content calendar and social media assets.
Practice applying brand guidelines (fonts, colors, tone) to your work.
A chance to showcase your outputs as portfolio pieces to future clients.
Insight into how real client requests are structured and delivered.
The Role of the Brand Board
Before you start working on this project, it’s important to understand the value of a brand board. A brand board is like the clinic’s visual identity guide — it includes the logo, fonts, color palette, and mood imagery. It ensures that all designs and posts feel unified, recognizable, and professional. For example, when you use the same fonts and colors across all graphics, audiences immediately connect the content back to Pawfect Care. This consistency builds trust, credibility, and memorability, which is crucial for any business.
Goal
We want to increase engagement on Facebook and Instagram by posting content that educates pet owners, builds trust, and shows our clinic’s friendly personality.
Your Tasks:
Create a 1-Week Content Calendar (5 posts total): Sample here
Mix of post types:
1 Tip (pet care advice)
1 Promo (clinic service / discount)
1 Testimonial (happy client/pet story)
1 Awareness Post (pet health topic, ex: vaccinations, grooming)
1 Fun/Relatable Post (pet humor/meme/engaging Q&A)
Present in a simple table format (Google Sheet or Canva template).
Write Short Captions for Each Post:
Tone: friendly, warm, caring (like talking to fellow pet parents).
Keep it 2–3 sentences max.
Add 1–2 relevant hashtags per caption.
Suggest Best Posting Times:
Research or choose ideal posting times for pet-owner engagement.
Example slots: Morning (8–10 AM), Afternoon (12–2 PM), Evening (7–9 PM).
Assign a time to each of the 5 posts.
Expected Deliverables:
1-week content calendar (with post titles, short captions, format, and posting times).
Goal
We want visually consistent social media graphics that match our brand identity (soft pastel colors, friendly fonts, and our clinic logo).
Your Tasks:
Social Media Post (Single Image): Sample here
Theme: “Pet Care Tip of the Day”
Size: Instagram square (1080x1080 px)
Include 1 short tip + clinic logo
Carousel Post (Multi-Slide): Sample here
Theme: “5 Signs Your Pet Needs a Vet Visit”
5 slides (1 sign per slide + cover + ending/CTA slide)
Friendly icons/illustrations + soft color scheme
Infographic: Sample here
Theme: “Dog & Cat Vaccination Schedule”
Layout: clean, easy-to-read timeline or chart
Include both dogs & cats with key vaccines + recommended ages
Use icons, pastel colors, and brand fonts

Logo: Place on all creatives
Export in PNG/JPG format (1080x1080 for posts, 1080x1350 for carousel/infographic)
Expected Deliverables:
1 Pet Care Tip Post
1 Carousel (5–7 slides)
1 Infographic
