Humans have only one stomach, but we have 7-8 feet of small and large intestines, which is where the actual absorption of nutriants, vitamins/mineral and water takes place in the body. This is done by "villi" and folds in the walls of the intestine, which greatly increase the surface area of those 20-30 feet of inestine to an overall surface area ~10x times greater than your overall body skins surface (~250m2~/2,700 sq ft). Let this amazing system do it's job. Don't put anything else in your mouth until the last meal has passed through your entire digestive system.
