DIOGELU/SAFEGUARDING

Fel ysgol rydym wedi ymrwymo i sicrhau diogelwch yr holl ddisgyblion a’r staff. Mae pob mynedfa yn cael eu cloi ac i gael mynediad defnyddir system fynediad cod. Mae ymwelwyr i’r ysgol yn cael ei chroesawu gan aelod o staff ac yn cael ei hebrwng i’r man priodol. Mae’r ysgol yn cynnal cofnod ymwelwyr er mwyn cadw cofnod o’r ymwelwyr i’r ysgol. 

Mae’r holl staff wedi derbyn hyfforddiant cymorth cyntaf. Os digwydd damwain yn yr ysgol, yna mae’r ysgol yn anfon slip ddamwain  gartref i rieni yn eu cynghori os oes angen unrhyw sylw meddygol. Yn ogystal mae log damwain yn cael ei chadw. Mae’r ysgol yn cydymffurfio â’r holl weithdrefnau cyngor sir ynghylch ac adrodd ar ddigwyddiadau ar dir yr ysgol.

As a school we are committed to ensuring the safety of all pupils and staff.  Entrances are locked and to gain access there is a key code entry system.  Any visitor that accesses the building is met by a key member of staff and is escorted to the appropriate place. The school holds a visitor log to keep a  record  of all visits to the school.  

All staff have received first aid training.  If an accident occurs in the school, then the school  sends accident slips home to parents, advising them if any medical attention is required.  An accident  log is maintained.  The  school complies with all LEA procedures regarding reporting incidents on the school premises.

Byddwn yn ymdrechu i ddarparu amgylchedd diogel a chroesawgar, lle mae plant yn cael eu parchu a’u gwerthfawrogi. Byddwn yn effro i arwyddion o gam-drin a chamdriniaeth a byddwn yn dilyn ein gweithdrefnau yn effeithiol i sicrhau bod plant yn derbyn cefnogaeth, amddiffyniad a chyfiawnder.

We recognise our moral and statutory responsibility to safeguard and promote the welfare of all pupils.  We will endeavour to provide a safe and welcoming environment, where children are respected and valued.  We will be alert to signs of abuse and maltreatment and will follow our procedures to ensure that children receive effective support, protection and justice.

If a potential child protection allegation is made against the Headteacher the member of staff in receipt of that allegation must contact MR. DARYL THOMAS (Chair of Governors).

Yna, bydd y Pennaeth/Mrs Davies yn cysylltu â’r Tîm Atgyfeirio Canolog i drafod y camau nesaf, yn unol â’r trefniadau lleol. 

Os caiff honiad amddiffyn plant posibl ei wneud yn erbyn y Pennaeth, bydd yn rhaid i’r aelod o staff a gafodd yr honiad hwnnw gysylltu â Chadeirydd y Llywodraethwyr – MR DARYL THOMAS. Bydd Cadeirydd y Llywodraethwyr wedyn yn cysylltu â’r Tîm Cyfeirio Canolog i drafod y camau nesaf yn unol â threfniadau lleol.

In the event of a child protection allegation being made against a member of staff, the person in receipt of that allegation must immediately pass details of the concern to Mr. GARETH JONES or in his absence Mrs. MEINIR DAVIES. MR JONES/MRS DAVIES will then contact the Central Referral Team to discuss the next steps in accordance with local arrangements. 

If a potential child protection allegation is made against the Headteacher the member of staff in receipt of that allegation must contact MR. DARYL THOMAS (Chair of Governors). The Chair of Governors will then contact the Central Referral Team to discuss the next steps in accordance with local arrangements.
