~ Llyfrau darllen i ddod nôl i’r ysgol yn ddyddiol os gwelwch yn dda

~ Thema dosbarth Duar a Theifi y tymor hwn yw ‘Myfi fy Hun.’ Yn ystod yr uned hon o waith, bydd plant yn archwilio eu teimladau, y corff dynol, a ffyrdd iach o fyw. Bydd disgyblion yn ysgrifennu testunau gwybodaeth, cyfarwyddiadau ac esboniad, tra'n gwella eu sgiliau digidol trwy greu taenlenni, posteri a fideos. Yn ogystal, byddant yn cynnal ymchwiliadau gwyddonol, gan gynnwys deall y system dreulio, ac yn datblygu sgiliau rhifedd trwy gasglu data a mesur.

~ Yn ein gwersi Cymraeg, byddwn yn darllen y llyfr, ‘Y Tocyn Raffl’ gan Anni Llŷn. Bydd disgyblion yn cwblhau amrywiaeth o weithgareddau sydd wedi'u cynllunio i wella eu sgiliau llafaredd, darllen ac ysgrifennu. Mae'r gweithgareddau hyn yn cynnwys ysgrifennu disgrifiadau o gymeriadau, llythyron ffurfiol, a phosteri dymunol. Yn ogystal, bydd disgyblion yn cael y cyfle i gymhwyso eu sgiliau digidol a rhifedd trwy gasglu data, creu cartwnau, a datblygu a rhannu cyflwyniadau Pwerbwynt.

~ Yn ein gwersi Saesneg, byddwn yn darllen y llyfr ‘Wonder’ gan R.J.Palacio. Yn ystod yr uned hon o waith, byddwn yn canolbwyntio ar bwysigrwydd bod yn unigryw a gwerthfawrogi ein gwahaniaethau. Bydd disgyblion yn cyd-ysgrifennu a pherfformio sgriptiau, yn cyfansoddi cerddi amdanyn nhw eu hunain, yn creu dyddiadur mewn cymeriad fel Auggie, ac yn ysgrifennu erthygl papur newydd. Ymhellach, bydd digon o gyfleoedd i wella eu sgiliau llafaredd a darllen, yn ogystal â defnyddio eu doniau artistig i ddylunio clawr newydd ar gyfer llyfr 'Wonder' eu hunain.

~ Duar and Teifi class’s Theme this term is ‘Me, Myself and I’. During this unit of work, children will explore their feelings, the human body, and healthy lifestyles. Pupils will write information, instruction, and explanation texts, whilst enhancing their digital skills through the creation of spreadsheets, posters, and videos. Additionally, they will conduct scientific investigations, including understanding the digestive system, and will develop numeracy skills by collecting data and measuring.

~ In our Welsh lessons, we will be reading, ‘Y Tocyn Raffl’ by Anni Llŷn. Pupils will engage in a variety of activities designed to enhance their oracy, reading, and writing skills. These activities include writing character descriptions, formal letters, and wanted posters. Additionally, students will have the opportunity to apply their digital and numeracy skills by collecting data, creating cartoons, and sharing PowerPoint presentations.

~ In our English lessons, we will be reading the book ‘Wonder’ by R.J.Palacio. During this unit of work, we will focus on the importance of being ourselves and appreciating our differences. Pupils will collaboratively write and perform playscripts, compose poems about themselves, create a diary extract as Auggie, and develop a newspaper article. Furthermore, there will be ample opportunities to enhance their oracy and reading skills, alongside utilising their artistic talents to design a new cover for their own 'Wonder' book.
