Ypsilon Inc (“we”, “our”, or “us”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use our mobile application Video Compressor (“App”), which allows users to compress or trim videos locally on their device.
The App does not collect or upload your videos, media files, or any content you process.
All compression and trimming happen entirely offline on your device.
However, we use Google Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to collect standard anonymized diagnostic data. These services may collect:
Device type and OS version
App version and screens/features used
Crash logs and error reports
Firebase installation ID (an anonymized identifier)
This data is used only for improving app stability and performance.
We do not collect names, emails, phone numbers, media files, or any personally identifiable information.
We use the collected diagnostic data to:
Analyze app performance
Identify and fix crashes or bugs
Improve user experience
We do not sell, rent, or trade any data with third parties.
Your videos and processed files remain fully on your device.
Firebase diagnostic data is stored securely using Google’s industry-standard systems.
We do not store any user media on our servers because we do not use any backend.
We only share data in the following situations:
With Google Firebase, for analytics and crash reporting
With your explicit consent
When required to comply with legal obligations
We do not share information with advertisers or data brokers.
These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. In the case we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we will be able to do necessary actions.
This Privacy Policy may be updated periodically to reflect changes in app functionality or legal requirements. Any significant updates will be highlighted in the app. Continued use of the app after updates indicates your acceptance of the revised policy.
