We understand that you may decide to stop using Builtriva. This guide explains, step by step, how to permanently delete your account from the Builtriva mobile app (Android and iOS) or from the Builtriva website.
Open the Builtriva app and sign in.
Open the Profile tab.
Scroll down and tap Delete account.
Review the information shown, including the projects you are on.
Enter your password, tick "I understand this can't be undone", and tap Delete my account.
Sign in to Builtriva.
Open Profile from the menu.
Scroll to the bottom and choose Delete account.
Review the information shown, enter your password, tick the confirmation box, and select Delete my account.
Once you confirm, your account is permanently deleted and you are signed out on all devices.
If you cannot delete your account yet: Some accounts must be handed over first. For example, the only approved admin of a company, or the only system admin, cannot be deleted until another person takes over. The app explains the reason and what to do.
Account deletion is permanent. We cannot restore your information or your access to projects. If you choose to use Builtriva again in the future, you will need to create a new account.
You can sign up again with the same email address and phone number, but the new account starts empty and is not linked to your old account or its projects.

Project records that you created or contributed to are kept, because they belong to the project and the company, and other people rely on them. This includes progress updates, labor logs, material and inventory records, approvals, and project drawings and files.
These records stay linked to your name, role and company or vendor business name, and are shown as a deleted user.
They no longer include your contact details or your ID details.
Server logs are kept for a limited time for security, and backups may hold deleted data briefly before they are overwritten.
