Creating Something New

Saying Goodbye to Fall

School-wide projects

Making our recycled car

Through out the month of November we have been talking about how we can keep the earth clean and our animals safe. Through our discussions we have moved our conversations to reusing and recycling. After reading a few books about how we can use things in a new way the kids decided to make a car out of the recycled materials that we had in our classroom. Everyone worked hard to build and decorate our class car!

Fun with Leaves

As we began to say goodbye to fall we had to have all the fun we can with the leaves on the ground. The kids have enjoyed play, counting, collecting and sorting the leaves that cover our playground.

Recycled Art

This year for Thanksgiving we had to make sacrifices to keep everyone safe. Instead of having a family feast we decided to work together as a school and create a beautiful art piece that we can all be proud of. The theme of this art piece was reusing and recycling. We collected all kinds of lids, caps and bottle top that otherwise would have been thrown away and turned it into a beautiful collaborative artwork.
