During the month of January we explored the world of winter weather. We were lucky enough to get a few fun days out in the snow where we explored the ice and snow on the ground.

We have been working on our large motor skills by playing different games that exercise our muscles.
Pattern making
We have been working hard to practice our pattern making skills. Patterning helps us practice repetition and color matching. Now that we have learned how to do ABAB, ABCABC, and AABB patterning are now working on creating our own patterns.
Practicing Drawing from a reference:
We have been practicing our fine motor skills by drawing animals and our families. We have been paying attention to smaller details and taking our time when we are drawing.
