Summer Trainee Program

Summer Internship is our principle medium of hiring talent for the future. We hire from top B-schools across the country and get Young Leaders on-board who go through an induction and align themselves with the company's culture and expectations. After the ice breaking and orientation, our leaders are assigned their respective projects and are mentored at each step. A mid term review analyses the progress made in the project and further guidance is provided to direct the interns on the right track. The final review is held after 2 months of the Internship period. Whirlpool has a tradition of selecting Best Summer Intern each year for which one intern representing each function is selected who present in front of the Managing Director and Senior panel members. Based on their performance, best intern is felicitated. Also, on the basis of Final evaluation deserving Interns are given Pre-placement offers and are absorbed in the Young Leaders Program as Management Trainees.

We believe in finding the right talent from campus and preparing them to take senior leadership positions. The opportunity to interact with multiple functions and disciplines will bring about functional expertise and insights into inter-disciplinary collaborations. We reward merit, encourage openness, and respect individuals' opinion. Thus, from Campus to Internship, from Internship to Trainees and from Trainees to Leaders we are building pillars of Whirlpool through the Young Leaders Program.
