About the course leaders

Jayne Godward, the course coordinator,  is a Person-Centred counsellor and supervisor with a background in nursing and social sciences.  Jayne has been training people to become counsellors since 2006 and has taught in the counselling skills field since 1994. She holds an MA in Psychological Therapies and Post Graduate Supervision Qualification.

Rachel Gallagher is a Person-Centred counsellor and trainer with experience of working with bereavement and with children at Place2Be.

Davida Lumsden is an senior accredited counselling practitioner with over 23 years of training and supervising counselling in the statutory and voluntary sectors. She has a vast experience in leading counselling services across the West Yorkshire district. She currently works in private practice counselling and supervising, also acting as a consultant for different agencies.

Jaymain Parkes is a Person-Centred counsellor and trainer with experience of working with mental health issues both as a counsellor and in her previous role, working in schools.
