About Us

Yorkshire Counselling Training is a well-established organisation which began in January 2012. We originally started working in Hull, offering CPD workshops, but expanded to offer courses in West Yorkshire, including Leeds and Shipley.

We have now trained many people from beginners up to practitioner level, who are now running their own private practices or who have managerial positions in counselling agencies.

Our courses are also useful to a range of professional employees who are working with people and who wish to further develop interpersonal or counselling skills to enable them to carry out their roles more effectively or take on new responsibilities.

Yorkshire Counselling Training was born out of a desire to provide quality professional development courses, particularly in areas that are relevant to practising counsellors.  

All our trainers are qualified and experienced counsellors and have a wealth of experience.  All are members of the BACP or other professional bodies.
