Touchless Interaction for Imaging Manipulation
Touchless Interaction for Imaging Manipulation
The objective of this project is to identify which touchless device should be used for which task.
In this project, we conducted an experimental study, comparing Microsoft Kinect vs. Leap Motion for 5 most common surgical imaging manipulation tasks. We documented the time to completion and errors for objective measures, and users' satisfaction and preference for subjective measures.
The findings led to the design of a novel touchless system for intraoperative imaging manipulation.
