OHC Contexts for Health Outcomes

Today, patients get support not only from their clinicians and family members, but also from people who share a weak tie with them. And the help from the weak tie may hardly be substituted. So I'm interested in Online Health Communities.

In this project, aiming to understand if the community contexts would impact on the health outcomes, I conducted a systematic literature review and found the lack of longitudinal studies in this area. The findings were used in a grant application.
