Create an organizer that teaches the word structure.
Create a flip book to label the structures of the plant and define the function of each.
Create a drawing that shows what a plant needs in order to survive. Tie together the ideas of these needs and how the structures of the plant use these needs. (Roots use the water, leaves gather the sun for food)
Understand that different plants live in different environments. This will be an ongoing organizer as we learn about different places. (desert, arctic, ocean, forest, plains, rainforest)
