Lego bricks
Objective: Using fusion 360 create a Lego brick
Materials and tools
Fusion 360
Set the units to millimeter and and make a sketch
Press the bottom plane and using the rectangle tool make a box. Press the dimensions tool and type brick length
Select the wedge and type brick width, finish sketch
Using the extruding tool set the distance as height to raise the bricks stature
Create a sketch on top of the brick, press the circle tool and click for a center and outer.
Dimensions tool again and enter stud diameter, click the outer wall like and enter stud wall distance then finish.
Extrude, and set it to stud height.
Reuse/unhide the sketch for top stud, go to create-project press the circle and press ok.
Go to Modify-offset and set its position to fit tolerance, finish the sketch, extrude the outer and inner circle
Go to create-pattern- rectangular pattern. change the object type to features then click the stud, press axes then select them, set distribution to spacing then axis 1 to length 2 to width and distance to stud spacing.
I learned how to resin print from a file! Also, the importance of gloves. Some of the material you'll be working with is toxic and can forever stain your clothes. You'll also need to make sure you don't overestimate your time needed to cure your object. This can leave your print soggy and collapsed. Improvements for next time is making something bigger. The gopher is about the same size of my thumb
