Feeling sick or have a minor injury that needs attention? We can help. Our team offers acute care visits as our schedule allows.  Concerns we see can include but are not limited to: 

• Fevers over 100.5 F

• Cough, congestion, sore throat

• Minor Cuts

• Suspected UTI

• Etc.

Most acute illnesses will resolve without medical attention within 7-10 days, however if you would like to be seen please call our office at 828-682-6118 to check our availability.  If you are experiencing shortness of breath or chest pain DIAL 911 or visit your local emergency room!

Physical Examinations are essential to good health! We recommend getting a physical yearly to stay on top of your health and ahead of any concerns. We offer several different types of physicals including:

• Annual Physicals

• School Physicals (K-12)

• Sports Physicals (K-12)

• DOT Physicals- $125 flat rate charge

We provide several lab services to anyone in our community! To get lab services, you must have an order from a Provider. Walk-in labs are welcome and wait times are dependent upon clinic volumes. Our lab services include:

• Blood Draws

• Oral Drug Screening

• Urine Drug Screenings

Please take note that there is a $40 charge for drug screens.

STI Testing is essential to protecting your health and the health of your sexual partners. The Yancey County STI Testing and Treatment Clinic provides a full range of services at no or low cost to all individuals. Our clinic is a safe place and information shared during your visit is confidential and used to inform your custom testing and treatment plan. Our clinic provides:

• STI Testing & Treatment

• 1 on 1 sexual health counseling

• Free condoms

• HIV prophylaxis and treatment referrals

• Reproductive Health Service Referrals
