Associates of Young Academy of India

Our associates encompass young scholars who have made remarkable contributions to the advancement of curiosity-driven blue skies research and science outreach. Till 2022, mentees who successfully completed our erstwhile Virtual Internship (#MentX) were automatically inducted as "Associates" of YAI. Ever since the retirement of the formal MentX program, associate positions have become open to all. To become an associate, please email an application with a motivation letter and CV highlighting curiosity-driven research undertakings. The basic requirement is master's in any field. There are no age limits, so as gender/race/language/disciplines. Associates from females, LGBTQ+, and humanities/social sciences are most welcome. Contact the director for further questions.

The term of associates is life-long.
