Create a Rehearsal Plan identifying the objectives of the rehearsal, structure of the rehearsal, warm up, repertoire to be covered and how, issues you want to address, how you plan to demonstrate sensitivity to individual needs etc. Consider how you will maximise the use of time and utilise each of your band members skills to the best of their ability.
Include a Risk Assessment for your rehearsal, identifying potential hazards you might face and how to avoid them (Unit 3 LO2.1)
Film your rehearsal, demonstrating you leading the rehearsal, executing your rehearsal plan and demonstrating sensitivity to individual needs. (Unit 3 LO3.2)
Risk assessments are a tool to help you identify risks, rate the severity and likelihood of the risk happening and put in place measures to minimise the chance of the risk happening and the severity of the outcome if something was to happen.
They are very important and often a legal requirement, without one if someone hurt themselves at an event you were running there is a high chance you would be liable for damages which could run into the millions.
Check out this example from a real festival. You will need to create your own risk assessment to complete one of the project criteria.
