Managing a faction, a corporation, a company or other, is not easy, and requires money and resources. Or, just more money. Managing requires you to follow the steps shown below.
Creating a faction is not free, and requires some funding. Below you will find the funding needed to get a Faction for yourself.

You can as well build your own space station, but it requires materials as well. Below you see the price and the materials needed for your own station:

As with factions, to create a Corporation you need funding. Below you can read the basic money requirement to start your career. In the corporation section you can choose what type of corporation to have, with 6 different options: Science, Mining, Exploration, Combat, Private, Spaceship Manufacturer, Luxury and Medical.
NOTE: As a corporation, you can't build your own stations.
With the science option you can have some research-focused gear without much protection or weaponry. The income with the science option starts from 600,000 CR per day, and higher, depending on what you do.

With the mining option you get access to mining ship equipped carriers and other gear, as well as a low-price mining outpost on a planet of choice. You get fairly good protection with bulky ships, but weaponry is not much. The income with the mining option starts from 850,000 CR per day, and higher, depending on what you do.

The exploration option gives access to large megaships, fitted with the best engines to travel long distances, as well as system-to-system travel to reach further. The income with the exploration option starts from 450,000 CR per day, and higher, depending on what you do.

The spaceship manufacturer option gives access to large industrial cruisers, that are also very luxurious, as they server like a spaceship dealership as well. The pay is very high too. The income with the spaceship manufacturer option starts from 2,300,000 CR per day, and higher, depending on what you do.
For Spaceship Manufacturing you will also need materials. Materials can taken with mining, or they can be bought. Read below the materials you need, and the prices if you can't get the materials by work.

A private corporation is a multipurpose option. Requires a lot of funding, but can fulfill any contracts or work. The income with the private option starts from 1,300,000 CR per day, and higher, depending on what you do.

A combat corporation is as it sounds, created to support large factions or to make a private army that can be used by privates, at large costs. It needs some funding, but if made with quality it can create large paychecks and huge pays from buyers. The income with the combat option starts from 1,900,000 CR per day, and higher, depending on what you do.

Creates anything, from spaceships to normal products, but for luxury purposes, such as Touring Ships. Prices are low and income is high at base levels. The income with the luxury option starts from 1,750,000 CR per day, and higher, depending on what you do.

You create medicines, but you will also need a not so pricey permit. The pay is quite high, but so is the expense. The income with the medical option starts from 1,150,000 CR per day, and higher, depending on what you do.

With this option you get access to creating huge vessels, known as capital ships. You can create luxury, exploration, combat capital ships and more, but watch out: they cost much more.
The basic income is 9,500,000 CR per day, but it may vary.
Management does affect severely your Rep, and can get you insane amounts of money, if done correctly.
