In Year 2742 we use Credits, or CR (in server emoji, :cr:). Credits are the main currency used in 2742, and they are electronical cash. Every new Roleplayer starts with 52,000 CR, and if they are licensed citizens, they also get 100 CR daily. Other paychecks are given, or acquired depending on what you do, but that will be covered later on. With credits, you can buy ships, which are listed here, and other commodities, which are also listed here.
To buy a ship (or commodity), head to the specific channels, where the shop bot is active. The channels are the following:
Since the bot we're using does not feature a sell back option, we had to make our own: To sell a ship, you will need to use the specific command to sell, and sell to an account named @SELL. Follow these steps to sell your ships and commodities back to the bank: ( don't do this to sell to others )
NOTE: After 5 tries and @SELL did not answer while online or idle, please ping a helper or higher.
NOTE: @SELL is an alt account, it's availability is not always sure. Only trade if Online/Idle.
Using our bot (prefix is Y!) do Y!contracts to get a list of currently available contracts. When you look at the list, the staff will be notified, so if you choose a contract, we will be with you soon!
Contracts can be of any type, also listed below.
Take out your GXL Transporter, this is not going to be easy, but not even that hard. Trading is a great way to make money and, in most cases, legally and safely. Trading is also popular in starter pilots, as it offers a great opportunity to make money, once you get the hang of it. On the other side, you can also choose smuggling, which is an illegal type of trading in most places.

You will need a more capable ship for this, like an H-229. Fighting is very profitable, if done right. You can be a bounty hunter, an FSLEA agent, or go to the less legal side and be a pirate to take down ships for assassination contracts issued by... Not so trustworthy individuals, but that for sure pay very well.

A great idea would be to prepare yourself with an exploration or touring ship, because it's going to be a long trip out there. Exploration gives you the opportunity to see the outer space, leave the solar system and go on your own. It doesn't pay much, but if you return information about a system, that system can be even worth millions. If not more.

Now, what's management? It is pretty much what you think it is: Run a company, corporation, faction or other, and increase drastically your daily income, from 100 CR a day up to even millions a day. Management is not easy, but can take you to huge success and system reputation, that will as well make things easier for you, but harder as well sometimes.

An easy way, that gets harder with time, to gain reputation and great paychecks: Joining large controlling factions, as well as the Federation, can get you a better paycheck, and as you gain reputation inside that faction, your pay will also increase.
In the powerplay section all the NPC and Player factions are listed.

Reputation is earned in the system by doing different activities, like the one listed above, or participating in events in different ways. You can earn legal reputation and illegal reputation, which depends on what you do. These levels are showed as roles on the server, and will affect your life in-RP.
Here you find listed all the kinds of legal reputation:
While the ones listed here are the illegal reputation levels:
Each of these will affect your life in different sections, like trading.
Spaceships are of course the main mode of transportation, and do cost credits (CR). Owning a ship can get you many benefits, such as being able to travel anywhere in the system. To learn how to buy ships and get your crew up formed, head to the Ships page, by clicking on the button just below or in the footer.
