The School of Education Mentoring Program also accommodates graduate students who may need academic advising, research consultation, or scholarly guidance.
Graduate students from MAEd and PhD programs may use the appointment system to request consultation with a faculty adviser, research adviser, program coordinator, or assigned School of Education personnel.
Graduate students may request appointments for:
academic advising;
course enrollment concerns;
curriculum or program concerns;
research topic consultation;
thesis or dissertation direction;
proposal development;
instrument development;
data analysis planning;
manuscript preparation;
publication or conference guidance;
completion or graduation concerns; and
follow-up consultation.
Graduate students should complete the SOE Student Mentoring and Consultation Appointment Request Form and indicate the specific purpose of the appointment. They should provide enough details so the adviser or assigned personnel can prepare for the consultation.
If supporting documents are needed, students may provide a Google Drive link in the appointment form. The sharing setting should allow the recipient to view the file.
