X Marks NJ II: Ink & Ember
  • So thanks for this hunt... my husband is a truck driver and on the road 5 days per week.  We spend 2 days off together every week.  But doing this hunt together really brought fun for us!  We were on the phone working the clues everyday and one of us would go to the locations if possible.  Not sure if you meant this thing as a marriage helper but it really is, haha!  Out of the ordinary, interesting and fun for the 34 year relationship!  I don't know if we can do the July hunt... we have vacation... but I will look into it and see if we are able.

  • I think the universe was giving you a nod to how cool this hunt was! lol Thank you for the video-I loved how you kept to your word about the hunt being just hard enough to keep people interested but not too hard where I just shake my fist and give up. Looking forward to Part 2....

  • It was a well put together hunt, @Hux Soul. You should be very proud of it! I'm up in Rochester, NY, so it was a bit far for me to travel, but it was fun participating from afar.      - ObsessedJared (Discord)

  • Congratulations Hux! I also enjoyed following from the sidelines!!!  -Froggy (Discord)

  • I'm already looking forward to X Marks NJ II: Ink & Ember

  • The hunt was well planned and thought out. The clues started out easy but progressively got more difficult. The clue release time made it hard to solve them quickly because of work.

  • I learned about things in NJ that I had no clue existed.

  • This treasure hunt led us to some very unique and interesting locations right here in our own home state. The puzzles were challenging but not too hard and we had fun completing each one. We liked that we had time between the release of each clue to work on them. I'm working 130 miles from home and it was convenient to go to each location on my way home. Given the current price of gas, I'm sure some searchers appreciated that some of the clues could also be solved from the armchair. We chose to go BOTG to every clue site for the full experience and although we didn't get the final in time, we are still planning to go check out that site too The videos and music released with each clue really added to the character of the hunt. I'd love to get a CD album of the music! We are eagerly awaiting the next hunt, Ink and Ember to be released! This was the best $20 I ever spent!

  • I really enjoyed that each stage had BotG field work and that you didn't need to do them immediately (other then the final)
