I’ve crossed many paths, and some of the best ones begin with a community.
If you walk the halls of a school, stand with a parent-teacher organization, or guide a troop of Scouts—this path may be for you.
Reach out. Let me know you want your school or group involved.
Then share the hunt with your students and their families.
When they register, have them name the organization they travel with. For every student who joins, X Marks NJ returns 10%—$2 per registration—back to your group. It may sound small, but numbers have a way of adding up. Five hundred students answering the call becomes $1,000 back to your organization.
Not a bad reward for pointing people toward something adventurous, meaningful, and worth exploring.
Just be sure to signal us first… every good hunt begins with a message sent.
I’ve seen many banners flying along the trail.
If you belong to one of these circles, you are welcome at the mark:
School PTAs and PTOs — the quiet backbone of every strong community
Boy Scout troops — trained to read signs, trails, and the world around them
Girl Scout troops — curious, capable, and never afraid to explore
Sports teams — bound by trust, teamwork, and the will to push forward
Church organizations — groups built on guidance, service, and shared purpose
Clubs of all kinds — where interests become fellowship and ideas turn into action
If your group walks together, you’re eligible.
All it takes is reaching out… and choosing to follow the path.
