Welcome to X Marks NJ II: Ink & Ember, the second chapter in a three-part treasure hunt where story, landscape, and mystery continue to unfold.

Ink & Ember builds upon the events of Hunt I, where Seekers followed a trail of breadcrumbs left by Hux Soul. What began as scattered clues became a journey across four New Jersey counties, drawing participants deeper into a narrative rooted in place, history, and hidden meaning.

Along the way, Seekers were led to a series of locations woven into the story: the grave of the unknown woman—a quiet and unresolved marker within the mystery; the natural winding paths of Ken Lockwood Gorge; the reflective stillness of  the Mary Ellis grave; the haunting historic resonance of the War of the Worlds Monument; and ultimately Round Valley Reservoir, where the Hearthbright Dawnpiece was discovered. 

But that discovery was not an ending—it was an opening.

Two Hearthbrights remain hidden. Two Wayfinders still wait to be found. And the prophecy they belong to is still incomplete.
