In 2021, Lay prepared a lot of surprises for his Xingmis/XBACKs/Beikers, including the single Bee With You.

The first surprise was an interactive quiz on weibo which he captioned with:

"Every second you work hard to walk towards me, I'm also working hard to become your strength. Thank you. We accompany each other and become better versions of ourselves."

In 2020, Lay posted another video message for his X'BACK with the caption:

"Love yourself, love life X'BACKs. Happy birthday"

In 2019, Lay posted a video where he plays the piano as a birthday present with the caption:

"X'BACKs (Beike-r) happy birthday"

In 2018, Lay posted picture of his hand signing "Love Lay", with the caption:

"Happy birthday my X'BACK girls"

The fandom's birthday was a day after Thanksgiving in 2017, and so that year, Lay posted a day earlier, on Thanksgiving, thanking the important people in his life, including X'BACKs. The post was captioned:

"Thankful"

Later in December 2017, Lay posted the birthday song he had recorded for X'BACKs, with the caption:

"Recorded a birthday wish on Thanksgiving which I'm now gifting my most precious X'BACKs, because it's also a small baby, it's also walking a bit slow. Sorry ❤️ "
