Troms Insignia
Located within the jungle, Troms can be described as a fortress rather than just a simple settlement. Standing even after the worst of the corruption war along with Ragni, Trom has the largest military power compared to all of the settlements within the province with a large section of the settlement itself dedicated to the military. Even becoming an official member of the town itself requires the person to prove themselves to be a capable warrior.
Citizens of Troms
The society of Troms is less of a society with civilians with traditional jobs, but rather a society of warriors that can be assigned to the army immediately, making the entire population of the settlement an army waiting to fight. Most of the nonactive combatants are training themselves and honing their skills to be the best warriors that Wynn could ever offer.
The society of Troms relies on supplies from other settlements like Ragni, as a majority of the population is not farmers. They frequently send their llamas through the ravine to Ragni for supply transportation. Through this, Troms has a really strong relationship with Ragni and is willing to support Ragni at a moment's notice.
The society of Troms also can be diverse as any race would be welcome as long as they can prove to be capable of combat. Even some legendary warriors in Trom are villagers, like Kelight who guards the Temple of the Legends.

The people of Trom are proud of the reputation of their settlement with many great warriors being raised within the fortress. Many of these were trained in the Temple of Legends. The temple stands as a prestigious landmark for Troms and many in and outside of Troms seek to gain access to it to train themselves to be among the legends of the province.
The temple itself requires many difficult trials to gain access. The temple is a hall of fame and grand library with records of many legends’ history like Tisaun and Bob. It became both a grand library and a rite of passage for all Wynnic heroes. It is also my favorite place for collecting artifacts and records for my library.
The Tale of the Exiled Great General and the Defender of the Citadel
With many great warriors being made within the settlement, many legends and tales have been created about them. One of the well-known tales is the tale of the great General Skien for his failure. The city would fall if not for the arrival of Tisaun Sodeta, a great hero that saved the city that General Skien deserted and established the Sodeta guild, which consists of many great warriors like himself. The guild itself had built the Delnar mansion located within the Dernel jungle, where many powerful warriors meet. Later they would move to Cinfras in Gavel province, where they established a new home for the guild.
As for General Skien, this desertion caused his exile into an island that eventually became known as Skien Islands along with his army that eventually became hostile to ships that attempted to get near the island. Though I would like to add the missing pieces of the story that are not recorded to the public. It’s suggested the cause of his desertion was the sudden betrayal from his men who were likely to become corrupted, this attack resulted in him being too wounded to lead the army and forced to leave the city unprotected. It’s also worth noting that General Skien himself is not fond of villagers and calls Tisaun a traitor for being sold out to them.
Being a settlement that has its population consisting of warriors and a large amount of its area dedicated to military purposes, Troms are known to hold the most military power of all Wynn settlements. The army of Troms is even more versatile and powerful than Detlas. With powerful siege weapons like cannons and overwhelming power of repeater crossbows, Troms army is not only powerful in numbers and skills but also in technology beyond other settlements in the province.
Even common guards with Trom are fitted with high-quality gear. It’s well known that the guards of Troms are the best infantry you could have in a battle due to their exceptional training and coordination.
Temple guards are stationed at the temple of legends, they are known for their exceptional training and magically enhanced gear. Kelight is the most well-known temple guard, as he “welcomes” any adventurers and gives out trials for them to complete in order to gain access to the temple. Kelight and other temple guards even managed to fight off the Corrupter of Worlds back into its cave when it attempted to escape.
Jungle Vanguard are considered the elite of the Troms army, they are given important tasks such as protecting the supply route in the ravine, stationing at different settlements in the province, watching out for danger and informing Troms about the neighbor town’s peril. They are known for their green cloaks, advanced gear like repeater crossbows, and highly flexible yet well-protected armor.
The fortress armor of Ragni inspired the Troms military, but instead of using the user's pure strength to lift the armor, Troms decided to utilize magic to enhance the armor and allow the user to wear it with more mobility. However, now instead of relying on the user’s strength, it’s relying on the user's mastery of earth magic to keep the armor together. The result of this is a slightly lighter and less bulky armor with more practical use that serves as the frontline for the Troms army.
Wild mages are guards that use magic practices adopted from Detlas. While they have not mastered the elemental magics like Detlas’ battle mages, they made up for their use of nature magic, making them able to heal their allies with druidism and even use shamanism as their last resort. With the combination of elemental magic and nature magic, they became even more versatile in warfare.
Deep within the jungle, the use of magical nature like druidism and shamanism is very common, unlike most of the Wynn province.. Troms also utilizes these magics for military and medical purposes and to enhance their already powerful military power.
Druidism is the practice of nature magic that tends to emphasizes healing and nurturing. Druidism uses the energy from life's creation for its magic. In Troms druidism is commonly used for healing and wild mages use it to heal their allies before they can be influenced by Corruption.
Shamanism is more versatile compared to druidism. Instead of taking energy from life creation, it takes the life from surrounding for its magic, sacrificing the life in process. Greater use of shamanism requires more sacrifice, but animals and plants are sufficient. Unlike druidism, shamanism is frowned upon by the people of Troms and their wild mages only use it when necessary, livestocks are commonly used as a sacrifice to turn the tide of the battle. The reason shamanism was looked down upon by the people of Troms is due to a shaman named “Slykaar”.

Slykaar, the Exiled Shaman
Slykaar was an exiled shaman that was hired by the King of Troms to protect the city during the Corruption war. He proved to be an effective protector, but at the cost of many civilians being sacrificed to fuel the magic. This has given Trom's people the experience of the worst shamanism can offer, the sacrifice of innocent lives has put a scar on the culture forever shunning the magic practice.
People would live under the cruelty of Slykaar until HE came, Robert or “Bob” as people call him. Bob came to train the art of spear with the master Fier. During his stay, he became the protector of Troms and Slykaar became obsolete. Seeing there is no need to sacrifice the innocents, the people of Troms banished Slykaar from Troms in favor of a much GREATER protector. The banishment caused Slykaar to flee into the unknown and plot his revenge on the people who turned their backs on him. His quest for revenge led him to discover something powerful and dark.

The Temple of Legends
The Troms Castle
Along with Ragni, Troms is also one of the few settlements that stand through Corruption. It’s rich with history and many legends were born here. The Temple of Legends has always been my favorite place, with so many records and artifacts all in one place to be “collected” for my library. To think of this much culture and history simply fascinates me. As for Slykaar, what a fool, what a fool.
