Silver Eagle is a South West facing crag.
Weather.gov forecast below.
Prime time seasons are Winter, Spring, and Fall.
Climbing is excellent all winter, the road is the only issue some years. It usually only keeps the area hard to get to for couple-few weeks when it snows. Walking in is an option.
In Summer if you decide to make the trip, best to start early and end around noon when the sun comes around.
Pro tip: Make your way to the Overlooked at around 4pm to finish your day climbing in the shade.
It's warmer than the Kyburz forecast once it hits sun.
There are some climbs that remain in shade longer due to their aspect but not many. So chasing shade options are limited here although some of the belays will remain shaded with tree cover.
