This Payment & Transaction Policy (“Policy”) explains how payments are processed on Wurkify, the applicable fees, security measures, and dispute resolution process. By using our platform, you agree to this Policy along with our Terms of Service.
Wurkify provides multiple secure payment options:
UPI (Unified Payments Interface) – for instant transfers in India.
Linked Bank Accounts for secure transactions.
Payouts to Seekers (gig workers) are processed via UPI or linked bank accounts.
All transactions are encrypted using industry-standard SSL/TLS protocols.
We do not store sensitive payment details (e.g., card numbers, CVV).
Payments are processed only through verified third-party gateways (RazorPay, UPI) that comply with PCI-DSS standards.
Wurkify charges a commission/service fee on each completed shift, deducted automatically before payout to Seekers.
Event organizers are billed the total shift cost, including applicable taxes and fees.
Automated invoices are generated for transparency.
We aim for smooth and transparent transactions, but in case of disputes:
For Seekers (Workers):
If a payout is missing or incorrect, raise a ticket via the Wurkify app within 72 hours of shift completion.
Our support team will verify attendance, organizer approval, and resolve within 5–7 business days.
For Organizers:
If you believe you’ve been incorrectly charged, you may raise a dispute within 7 days of invoice receipt.
Refunds or adjustments will be made only after verification of records (attendance logs, check-ins, approvals).
Final Resolution:
Wurkify reserves the right to make the final decision after reviewing all evidence.
Payments flagged as suspicious may be temporarily held for verification.
Any fraudulent activity may result in account suspension and legal action.
This Policy may be updated periodically. Users will be notified of significant changes via the app or email.
