WHAT IS A ROLEPLAY?
In a roleplay, a student is given a business scenario on the spot, and then given a certain amount of preparation time to devise a response and present that response to a judge. Generally, roleplays are for students who enjoy thinking on their feet.
Everyone who competes in a roleplay must also take their respective cluster exam test, a 100 multiple-choice question exam testing general business knowledge and a specific area of business relevant to your event.
Preparation involves being familiar with each event's respective performance indicators, speaking with confidence, and most importantly, practicing with practice roleplays. Below is an example of a roleplay.

Below is an example scoring guide that judges ACTUALLY use to evaluate you on competition day. When practicing roleplays, it is very important to understand the roleplay not only from your point of view, but from the judge's. Use these to score yourself, or have someone else score you whilst practicing.
Okay, Now what?
Answer: PRACTICE!
Below is a spreadsheet of all roleplay events offered here at W.T. Clarke. Find your event's acronym at the bottom, click on it, and you will be provided with 5+ practice roleplays for you to practice with. In each of these roleplays, a scoring guide is provided.
