*All applicants must be 16 years or older and successfully complete provided training.
1. Box Office Associate- This person may be at the doors taking tickets and distributing wristbands or be working in the box office managing the selling of tickets or distribution of will call. Duties may include:
checking for seat availabilities,
making seating recommendations,
ensuring correct information is fed into the system,
taking printouts of tickets,
handing tickets to customers,
informing patrons about show timings and other vital details,
informing customers about special deals and discounts, and
maintaining a record of sold tickets.
This person must be welcoming, polite, and have stellar communication skills. Familiarity with computerized ticketing systems is a plus.
2. Event Greeter- This person greets attendees, verifies tickets and assists them in finding their seats. Duties may include:
Assisting guests with locating exits and amenities such as restrooms and concessions,
Assisting guests with limited mobility or other special needs to and from their seats,
Ensuring that aisles, walkways, and designated seating areas are clear, clean, and safe,
Calmly assisting with disputes regarding tickets and seats,
Notifying supervisor of any problems with facilities, supplies, and venue, and
Assisting guests with complaints or concerns and escalating concerns to supervisor when necessary.
This person must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, excellent customer service skills with the ability to resolve minor disagreements, and the ability to learn venue layout and operating guidelines. This person should be able to handle prolonged periods of standing and walking, as well as be able to lift 15 pounds.
3. Security Officer- This person’s duties may include:
Securing the premises and personnel by staying on patrol, monitoring surveillance equipment, performing building inspections, guarding entry points, and verifying visitors.
4. Concession Stand Attendant- This person must provide excellent customer service and be capable of working independently or jointly with another coworker. Duties may include:
Ensuring inventory is maintained according to management guidelines,
Taking orders
Preparing orders
Handing orders to guests
Cashier/POS management
This person must be able to lift up to 30 pounds, walk, reach, stand, bend, and stoop for long periods of time, have good basic math skills, and be familiar with the operation of computers.
5. Parking Lot Attendant- This person must be welcoming and polite. Duties may include:
Verifying type of ticket in order to direct patrons to correct parking area
Making sure traffic flow is maintained
This person must be able to stand, walk, and be outside for prolonged periods of time no matter the weather on the day of event.
