The Bell Burnell Graduate Scholarship Fund is now open for applications!

Last year, Professor Dame Jocelyn Bell Burnell won the Breakthrough Prize for Physics and founded the Bell Burnell Scholarship Fund with the prize money to help encourage greater diversity in physics.

Those who will be entering graduate school in the UK or Ireland as full or part time physics graduate students in Fall 2020 from currently under-represented groups in physics should apply.

For more information and to submit your application, please visit iop.org/bellburnellfund. The closing date for applications is midday Friday, 10 Jan 2020. This is a great opportunity and we encourage all senior undergraduate student members of PhIS who are interested in graduate studies in the UK or Ireland to apply!
