Fundraising is very important to helping make the Wren Band program the best it can be for our students! There are many ways to earn funds for your student’s own account and for the Band’s General Fund. Throughout the year, there are fundraising opportunities listed below. There’s something for everyone!
For the past several years we have sold cookie dough and we will sell it again this year. We will probably start the cookie dough sale sometime in August.
This year we may be doing a coffee fundraiser. Students will earn a $5 profit per bag of coffee sold. This includes flavored, unflavored, and decaf coffee. The coffee bags even come in our school colors with our logo! This one may start sometime in September.
This is a program where students can solicit sponsorship from local businesses. The sponsorship money goes into the band general fund and students can receive a credit to their account depending on the Category of Sponsorship. The corporations also receive advertising exposure through banners on the band practice field and football field fences; they are highlighted at halftime, and are put in the Wrenicycle program. *For further details on this program please see the "Become a Sponsor" in the menu above.
Our concession stand is the one on the visitor’s side of the football field. It provides us with thousands of dollars of profit in a normal season. Please support our concession stand. ** See Concession Stand Section Night Schedule attached at the end of the handbook.
We have recently started an online Apparel Website. The site sells many major brands that can be customized to include the Wren Band logo and even your child’s name! Once we meet the minimum profit threshold, the band will begin to receive 10-12% of the quarterly sales. Click Here to access the website today!
This is the school Class Beauty and Wrenicycle Pageant put on each year by the BAND. This is the band’s biggest fundraising event of the year. We provide music, workers, awards, food, and the ability to make this production happen for the school. The Wrenicycle Pageant has been voted one of the top pageants on the east coast by Pageantry Magazine in the past.
