A. Cataloging Service
This service maintains the bibliographic records of library materials. The main goal is to make the library materials searchable and retrievable. It could also be a model reference or source of other libraries' bibliographic entries (copy-data).
B. Abstracting & indexing
This service aims to make other library materials that did not undergo the cataloging process searchable and retrievable. Most of these materials are theses dissertations and periodicals.
It stands for Online Public Access Catalog (OPAC). It is a computer- based catalog that library clients access through computer terminals. WPU libraries maintain a web-based catalog that is accessible 24 hours and anywhere.
