LIBRARY ACTIVITIES
85th national bookweek celebration
Varied educational activities such as spelling bee, spoken poetry, quiz bee, on-the-spot painting, charades and doodling were participated by the students during the 85th National Book Week Celebration.
The opening program was graced by the Campus Administrator, Dr. Oscar D. Nalzaro who gave a short talk on the importance of reading and libraries.
aaccup accrediTAtion
The PPC Campus Library was again part of the AACCUP Accreditation for BS Aquatic Biology (Level III), BS Criminology (Level III) Bachelor in Public Administration, Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, Bachelor of Science in Hospitality Management (Level II) and Bachelor of Science in Social Work (Level I).
The Area VII accreditor is Prof. Maria Pretty Lay Abdala of Bulacan State University who had lots of praises for the new library and the preparation of the documents.
The Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas – Knowledge Resources Network was launched at the WPU-PPC Campus Library on March 12, 2019.
Ms. Melanie Condes (lady with a green shawl, Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas Representative) and Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Julie Hope Timotea P. Evina cut the ribbon after the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) contract signing and the short program.
The PPC campus administrator, Dr. Oscar D. Nalzaro and the deans of the different colleges with selected students and a few faculty members of the College of Business and Management graced the event.
transfer to the new puerto princesa campus library building
The library personnel together with the help of the administrative staff, students, other teachers and the Campus Administrator were able to successfully transfer all library holdings and equipment to the new library building on the 3rd week of July 2019.
