The library began at same time with the establishment of the Palawan National Agricultural College in 1963. It was first managed by Prof. Trinidad E. Palao. The Library was then housed, in the present location of the Office of Student Affairs.

In 1985, the library was transferred to its present building, funded by the Agricultural Education Outreach (AEOP), located adjacent to the Administration Building. Thereafter, the Instructional Media Center was built in 2014 ad placed adjacent to the library. In 2019, the library extension was established and became a haven for serial collections, a staff lounge, and discussion rooms.
