CHAPTER 5
Summary, Conclusion and Recommendation
Summary, Conclusion and Recommendation
1. Treatments 2 and 3 showed faster healing than Treatment 0, which did not receive any treatment from the researcher. There is significant difference between the treatments. Treatment 3 has the fastest rate of healing
2. In terms of color, smell, and texture observation, the shelf life of products with different concentrations is relatively different in terms of its shelf life within 15 days.
3. Based on the results, gathered in terms of visual observation of possible side effect of the product, it showed Treatment 1 was causing signs of pain when applied on its respective specimens.
4. At the end of this study, p-value was less than 0.05 which indicates that there is significant difference between the treatments.
Based on the results of the study, the four treatments have significant difference in terms of wound healing. Treatment 0 replicates received a mean score of 3.33, Treatment 1 with a mean score of 4, and Treatment 2 with a mean score of 5 all in day 15, Treatment 4 replicates received a mean score of 4. However, Treatment 3 received a mean score of 5 on days 14 and 15. Therefore, Treatment 3 had the fastest wound healing rate and is most effective.
The researcher recommends to search more effective ways to prolong the shelf life of the product. The researcher also suggests to take the treatment into ointment form for better and more convenient results.
