CHAPTER 3
METHODOLOGY
METHODOLOGY
This study aims to provide aide in wounds. In here, the product’s effectivity and shelf life are tested, this chapter will also determine if there are any side effects when the product is applied.
This study is quantitative experimental. This study will determine the effectiveness, the shelf life, and the side effects of the product towards the wound or to the specimen.
Sixteen healthy adult male albino mice will serve as respondents for this research. The mice will be kept in standard conditions and will have free access to water and regular food and normal diet.
This experiment conducted three treatments with different amount of Extracted Onion. (T0) Distilled water, (T1) 20mL Onion Extract, (T2) 15mL Distilled water and 5mL Onion Extract, (T3) 10mL Distilled water and 10mL Onion Extract, (T4) 5mL Distilled water and 15mL Onion Extract.
This study will use Purposive Sampling. The specimens will be kept healthy and will not be given any treatment before this study.
The researcher created a scale to test the effectiveness of the products and their shelf life. This practical research is a quantitative and an experimental type of research hence, it made use of the following research instruments validated by people inclined in the field.
To determine the significant differences among each treatment, the researcher will use ANOVA (Analysis of Variance) method as the analytical tool
