The Escorrasi are masters of trade and while they have markets and ports across the known world, their main source of power lies in the four trade hubs they control: Azoama, Karasan, Kinawara and Marazegu. According to their mythology, the species are children of the twin gods, Esca and Rra. The disparity of their lands lies in history and the effects of the Starfall on the world. While Escorrusan empires once spanned across Daedoras and Dannen, controlling much of the western continents of Crecia, a combination of events at the turn of the 11th Age caused a collapse, and the 4 regions are all that remained of their empires. Taking control of what they once had, the 4 regions now focus more on trade, mercantilism and seafaring rather than warfare. They are unparalleled merchants, proficient mariners,

Humans are not native to Crecia, and little is known of the lands from which they hail. Long ago before the most recent Starfall, an omen appeared in the sky in the form of a constellation, a new god named Cestovas pointing the way to new lands. While many disregarded the sign, a group of humans known as the Cestovarians took it upon themselves to follow it. They constructed twelve arks, named for each of the stars in the constellation, and sailed as the Starfall burned through the sky. When they landed on the new shores of Crecia, what they found were broken cities and remnants of once great civilizations, torn apart by the new Age. Humans expanded quickly across the new frontier, claiming old cities and settling new ones along the way. As the humans spread out, they blended the cultures of their own people with those they came across and began trading and warring and allying with other powers, human or otherwise. They are skilled explorers, capable diplomats, proficient artists and exceptional strategists.

The Khalikar are widespread across the wastelands of Mirasia in the east and Forenya Forest in the west. Long political turmoil and rough homelands have created a rift the Khalikar into two cultures, strongly divided from one another. In the east lies the Tempest Wasteland, where warlords and emperors rise and fall and vie for control over the land, and the Kokkori relics which they worship. While to the west is Forenya Forest, where the Khalikar have made peace with the gargantuan forest and live in and among the trees. Near Forenya they were discovered by the Bjorsine and many taken as slaves, starting a long lasting Khalikar slave trade for the Bjorsine that wouldn’t end until an alliance with humans formed centuries later. Their sporadic history and lands have lead to a very disparate people, lacking many universal beliefs, traditions, and histories. Instead there exist smaller cults and societies separated by either the rough terrain of Forenya Forest or the roving bands in the wastelands. However when Khalikar excel in a field, they are some of the finest in the known world. They are well known for their arts, weapons, archery, tracking, diplomacy and trading among many others. And large Khalikar city states are noted for having the highest quality of living, in cities like Ethirfell, where the arts flourish, and Gwarthos, one of the trading capitals of the world.

Millenia ago, the Kokkori were once an extremely powerful, highly advanced force on Crecia, and settled all across the continent. The species, however, was divided both culturally and biologically between castes. At the height of the species, a massive pandemic spread through the high ranking members of society, however those who were able to look for a cure were also the most susceptible to the plague. The remaining upper class members attempted to salvage what they could of the race by putting the species in cryostasis in Kokkori temples littered across Crecia. Those who survived the plague were preserved, and all those deemed unworthy were left out to fend for themselves. The Starfall created an Ice Age across the planet, eventually killing most Kokkori. Those not in cryostasis succumbed to the environment, and over time even many of the temples could not survive through the long winter.
The remaining Kokkori awoke Ages later were few, and those who survives outside the temples were even fewer. The majority of the survivors were drones, part of the working class who did not know how to lead for themselves, while the upper ranks struggled to fit in the new world they awoke to, leaving a small number to attempt to rebuild what they lost. While the fallen Kokkori civilizations have left artifacts and technology across the known world, the remainder of the species resides in the rocky ruins of Estebar, almost at a standstill attempting to regroup and grow, however biologically held back from their full potential.
While a far cry from what they once were, the Kokkori remain philosophical, industrious, and protective.
