General
What is Worker Sites?
Worker Sites is a construction management app for tracking sites, workers, daily attendance (hajri), expenses, materials, client payments, quotations, and profit — with PDF reports you can share with clients.
Does the app need internet?
No. Worker Sites works offline. Your data is stored on your device. Internet is only needed for optional Google Drive backup.
Which languages are supported?
English, Hindi, and Gujarati. Change language in Settings.
Is my data safe?
Yes. Data stays on your device. You can enable Face ID / device lock in Settings for extra security. We recommend regular backups.
Sites & billing
What billing types are available?
One Time Payment — fixed site amount + optional extra charges
Day Wise (Hajri) — total from worker attendance × daily rates
Square Feet — rate per sq ft × total area
What is “With Material” vs “Without Material”?
With Material — material cost is included in site expenses/profit
Without Material — material is billed separately to the client
How is balance due calculated?
Balance Due = Billable site amount (after discount) − Payments received
Workers & attendance
How is labor cost calculated?
Each worker’s daily rate (site rate or default wage) is multiplied by attendance type:
Full day = 1×
Half day = 0.5×
Quarter day = 0.25×
And so on
Can I add notes for daily work?
Yes. When marking attendance, add optional Work details (e.g. plastering, tiling). Notes appear in PDF reports.
Why don’t I see attendance on a site?
The site must be Active. Completed or on-hold sites may not allow new attendance.
Expenses & profit
Why do I see two expense amounts on site overview?
Attendance / Labor — calculated live from attendance
Expenses — manual expenses only (transport, food, etc.)
How is profit calculated?
Profit = Total payments received − Total effective expenses (including synced labor and materials if applicable)
Reports & PDF
Why does monthly report show “No transactions”?
Months appear when there is attendance, payment, expense, or material activity in that month.
What is the difference between Client and Full Detail PDF?
Client Statement — billing summary for the client (no internal profit/expense breakdown)
Full Detail — complete financial report including expenses, materials, profit, and worker details
Why is the ₹ symbol missing in PDF?
Update to the latest app version. If the issue continues, email support with a sample PDF.
Backup & data
How do I backup my data?
Settings → Backup → choose Local (save on device) or Google Drive.
How do I restore?
Settings → Restore → pick a .wsbackup or .json file, or restore from Google Drive.
Will restore delete my current data?
Yes. Restore replaces all current app data with the backup. Always backup before restoring.
Can I use the same backup on a new phone?
Yes. Create a backup on the old phone, transfer the file (or use Google Drive), then restore on the new phone.
