Backup & Restore Guide

Your business data is important. Back up regularly — especially before updating the app or changing phones.

Create a local backup (on device)

1. Open Settings

2. Tap Backup

3. Choose Local Backup

4. Wait for “Backup created successfully”

5. File is saved in your device storage (Downloads / Worker Sites folder)

File format: .wsbackup or .json

Create a Google Drive backup

1. Open Settings → Backup

2. Choose Google Drive Backup

3. Sign in with your Google account when prompted

4. Wait for “Backup uploaded to Google Drive”

Backups are stored in your Google Drive under your account.

Restore from local backup

1. Open Settings → Restore

2. Choose Import Local Backup

3. Confirm — this will replace all current data

4. Select your .wsbackup or .json file

5. Wait for “Backup restored successfully”

Restore from Google Drive

1. Open Settings → Restore

2. Choose Import from Google Drive

3. Confirm the warning

4. Select a backup from the list

5. Wait for restore to complete

Tips

• Backup weekly if you use the app daily

• Backup before restoring or reinstalling the app

• Keep at least 2 recent backups (local + Drive)

• After restore, open Dashboard and verify sites, workers, and payments
