Suki Fisher is a writer, educator, and walker extraordinaire. In her free time, she teaches composition, literature, and creative writing for the English Department. Beyond this, she often serves as faculty leader for the Saddleback College Study Abroad to Oxford program, which runs in the spring. While she mostly writes fiction these days, poetry is and always has been close to her heart. Recent publications include Refractions, a chapbook of poetry put out by Bottlecap Press. Her debut novel, After the Autumn People, will be published through Running Wild Press in late 2026.
