The World Language Distance Learning Teachers Resources site is a compilation of resources shared by teachers in Nebraska with experience in using Comprehensible Input strategies in distance learning teaching.
This web site provides resources, strategies, sample lessons and assessments for Levels 1, 2 and 3/4. The focus is on Spanish but many of the strategies are useable for any language.
Each level uses a Scope & Sequences adapted by ESU #16 Spanish teachers from the Denver Public Schools World Language department.
Level 1 - Information about Level 1 including Level 1 Scope & Sequence
Level 2 - Information about Level 2 including Level 2 Scope & Sequence
Level 3 - Information about Levels 3/4 including Level 3/4 Scope & Sequence
Each level is divided into Blocks. Each Block has two units. Example assessments are provided for each Block.
Having a good understanding of Teaching with Comprehensible Input will help the teacher implement these resources more effectively in the distance learning classroom. A list of Comprehensible Input background information and demo videos are provided on the Teaching with Comprehensible Input page.
