DESIGN YOUR OWN WIZZLE!
Can you design your own wizzle tile and send us your design to upload it to the Creativity and Learning Community? If you wish, we can produce your own unique personalized wizzle based on your design!
With the help of the interactive application "wizzle", anyone can design their own tile without needing to know the mathematical rules. These rules are embedded in the application and operate automatically. Simply move the red points on the yellow tile (1) and observe the changes in the other tiles (2, 3, 4, 5). The isometries specified below each tile are automatically implemented on all tiles. Try to create a unified tile with your design. If you mess up the design and can't fix it, click on the icon with two arrows in the top right corner to start over. Before you begin designing, please read below about the two available ways to send us your design.
The application is designed using the open-source software for dynamic geometry, GeoGebra.
You can send us your design in two ways:
1. For less experienced users:
Take a screenshot and send it to us via email by following the steps below:
Create your own personalized wizzle design using the application we have created.
Press the PrtSc (Print Screen) button.
Open an email and paste the screenshot in the body of the email (you will see the image of your design inside the email). In the email, include: a) which of the 5 designs (1, 2, 3, 4, or 5) you would like us to create for you, b) your contact information.
Send the email to isometricks.ja@gmail.com, and we will contact you for further details.
2. For more experienced users:
Send us the GeoGebra file via email by following the steps below:
Click on the three dots next to the ASSIGN button in the top right corner and then select "Open with GeoGebra App."
The application will open on the online GeoGebra platform, where you can create your own personalized wizzle design.
Click on the icon with the three horizontal lines in the top right corner and select "Export as," then choose "GeoGebra File (.ggb)." In the "Save" tab that opens, enter the desired file name and click "Save." Your file will be saved in the "Downloads" folder.
Send us this file and your contact information via email to isometricks.ja@gmail.com, and we will get in touch with you for further details.
