Some of the boys did the long way back, battlingtheir way across very rooted paths and down to the cascades. It was brilliant. Only 8 of us only doing about 10km. Super weather and lots of company on the way.

Thanks to all that made it.
15-06-2019 Awesome tramp by Windsor Park Tramping at Scandrett Regional Park/Martins Bay today. A circuit of 8km in beautiful sunshine, left the rain back in Auckland. Thanks to all 12 that made it.
20-07-2019 Matakana to Point Wells. This tramp was well attended (14) considering we had a very showery day on Friday which continued into the tramp day. Whilst the tramp was wet it was not spoilt by the rain as we headed into the picturesque Omaha area from the town of Matakana. We did an awesome 15 km, all coped so well. Ice creams all round at the ice cream factory just before Matakana, yum!
17-08-2019 Bucklands Beach Yacht Club to Musick Point. Not many takers (8) for a brisk 11km course along pristeen coastline, watching the ferries coming and going to Great Barrier and Waiheke. Just one mild shower at Musick Point but otherwise even had sunshine whilst exploring the marina. Highly recommended, thanks to all takers, sorry to those that missed a good day.
21-09-2019 Long Bay regional park - I have been avoiding this one because I thought it was boring but I stand corrected, what a day, what a crowd and what beauty along the way. Thanks to all 30 that made it, see you again.
