As a radiographer major I have a interest in science and technology. I wanted to explore what medical imaging will be like in the future. The risks and benefits of medical imaging, future innovations like AI - assisted diagnostics and solution for ethical issues in the field. Technology is always changing and we have to adapt to it. AI as been slowing enhancing the way medical imaging and scans are done.

The first X-ray imaging was created in 1895 by Wilhelm Conrad Rontgen. He captured an image of his wife hand. This was the first time someone saw a clear picture of bones using technology without performing surgery. Since then medical imaging has evolved over the years in several modalities scanning patients around the world.
Lesson Learned
I learned that medical imaging is the backbone for diagnosis in healthcare. It influences how diseases are detected, treated and prevented. Doctors rely significantly on medical imaging to create a treatment plan for their patients. AI in medical imaging will enhance the field of radiology in years to come. Making imaging and scan more comfortable and safe for patients and less complicated and hectic for its workers.
