I have completed my CSIT Cybersecurity training. This training as created awareness in identifying potential cyberattacks such as hacking, scams, phishing, malware, etc. Cyberattacks are common in today's digital world. With some safety practices learned from this training module I will be able to protect my personal information online.

This article reports that the US government cybersecurity agency (CISA) has issued a warning about cyberattacks targeting insfrastructure in the United States. This article stood out to me because of the war there has been a severe increase in the cost of living and everyday necessities such as gas and food. The article also emphasises that these cyber threats are ongoing and organizations must strengthen their defense to prevent further outcomes.

Mississipi Hospital System Closes All Clinics After Ransomware Attack
The article explains how a ransomware attack on the University of Mississipi Medical Center led to the closure of its clinics being forced to shut down. This resulted in the disruption of patient care, non emergency procedures and appointments were canceled. The data system was compromised which is being investigated. Potentiental leak of patients personal information from this attack, this lead to the clinics going back to paper documentations until issue is resolve for safety purposes. My take away from this article is that we dont have much control over our personal information in today's society. Even in a setting such as a hospital which should be consider a safe space there is a potential risk on cyberattack on individuals.

Lesson Learned
Overall this assignment has thought me to recognize potential cyberattacks, verify links and emails before opening them if seems unsure. I will use this knowledge to help prevent cyber mishaps and make safer choices in my daily use in the digital world.
