Greetings! I'm Andy, hailing from the charming state of Virginia. Growing up in a military household infused my early years with a sense of adventure, as I crisscrossed various locations before finding a more settled rhythm in Virginia.
My educational journey was a mosaic of exploration, starting at Thomas Nelson Community College, now known as Virginia Peninsula Community College. Initially delving into the realm of computer science, my academic pursuits evolved, ultimately culminating in an associate degree in science— a field that has since undergone its own transformation.
Transitioning to Christopher Newport University marked a pivotal chapter. Initially drawn to the world of finance, my academic compass led me through an array of majors, settling, at last, on economics. The academic journey mirrored the twists and turns of life, and in those moments of exploration, I discovered more about myself than I ever anticipated.
Amidst the academic hustle, I found solace and camaraderie in two vibrant clubs at CNU. The volleyball club, despite my lack of prior experience, became a newfound passion, weaving athleticism into the fabric of my diverse sporting background. Simultaneously, Christopher's Educational Enrichment Fund, a formidable investing club, became a crucible of learning and growth. Navigating through stringent screening processes, night classes, and solo presentations, I emerged as one of the select few entrusted with managing the club's investments and the universities endowment portfolio.
My professional journey gravitates toward the world of investing, where I thrive as a trader in both the stock and futures markets. Drawing from the knowledge gleaned in finance and economics, the experiences within the CEE Fund, and extensive readings, I navigate the dynamic landscape of trading. It's a challenging yet exhilarating pursuit that keeps my adrenaline pumping.
