One of the more interesting, and possibly predictable, details of these census records is that the name "Nauglebaugh" is not spelled "Nauglebaugh" on any of these records. This name is spelled many different ways. These census records highlight three of the variations that I have found in the records.

In the 1850 census Elizabeth is a young wife. If the couple married before their son Jacob was born she would have been about 17 or 18 years old at the time.

17 August 1870

Owen County, Indiana
In this census Elizabeth is a female head of household with seven children. Notice household 42, Jacob Moser, a farmer with three young children and no wife. This census and the obituary of Catherine Nauglebaugh Schlegel explain why I could not find Edward Moser on any 1870 census. In 1870, he was listed in his widowed mother's household as Edward Nauglebaugh. Elizabeth and Jacob did not marry until after 1870.

Only one of her children is also buried in this cemetery.
Elizabeth Maria Christina "Tenia" Moser Willen (1872 - 1935) (Find-a-Grave link)
Elizabeth Geib 1827 - 1896
The only information I can find about the church congregation that this cemetery is named for is this tid-bit from the Clay County Genealogical Society.
St. Peter’s, a German Reformed church in Harrison Township, on the former BOTTRON place, on the border of Owen County, three miles northeast of Clay City, built and dedicated in the year 1874. The parsonage maintained in connection with this church was wholly destroyed by fire on the 20th of November 1908, which was rebuilt and reoccupied before the close of the winter.
