It’s easy to get overwhelmed, discouraged, worn out and then the tendency is to give up. BUT DON’T LET THAT HAPPEN! Be sure to take time for yourself to rest & recharge. What that looks like for each of us will be different but here are some ideas:
Commune with nature: go for a walk, sit in the sun when it appears LOL, visit the PSU Arboretum or one of our many Centre Region Parks
Clear your mind: read a fun book, watch a fun movie, do a project around the house, designate 1 day a week to take a break from news and social media
Socialize without news or politics talk: meet at a favorite watering hole, visit someone in the hospital, retirement home, or homebound, call a relative or friend you haven’t connected with recently.
