BE ACTIVE IN PROTESTS

• Mobilize - website used by many organizations to get the news out about their upcoming actions; you can find local and national actions

• Thompson Tuesdays, 5:00 - 6:00 PM every week.  Rep. Glenn Thompson has been unresponsive to his consitituents and follows the Trump parade in lock step.  Protest to let him know we don't approve.

• Overpass Team - committee of Keystone Indivisible; protests on overpasses, along highways, and other events using large letters to create different messages.  Email your interest to:  readoooodles@mac.com 

BE ACTIVE IN A LOCAL CENTRE COUNTY ORGANIZATION

• Keystone Indivisible - meets monthly, has organization teams, plans & leads protests as they empower people of Centre County to use their voices to defend democracy and progressive values.  Sign Up Here.

• Centre County Rapid Response Team (part of Pennsylvania Immigration Coalition) - training volunteers to assist our immigrant neighbors.  Join the Team Training

• Centre County Democratic Committee - tactical and financial support of local, state and national candidates; registering and mobilizing voters.

• Central PA United - leading issues-based campaigns around safe and affordable housing, criminal justice reform, renters' rights, mutual aid efforts, and more!

• Justice Singers - monthly singing gatherings; support protests and rallies with music

• Fair Districts PA of Centre County - nonpartisan, statewide coalition working to fix legislative rules, create fair districts and map out a fair redistricting process.

• Write a letter to the editor of a local newspaper expressing your views on a current issue

This website created to provide citizens resources to help tend to our democracy and keep it healthy.  Many of the events & organizations will be for Centre County, PA, but the "Get Involved" and the "Time to Learn" sections are helpful everywhere.
